Graze Box Review #6

The latest snack selection
The latest snack selection

The second box for October had four repeats of snacks that I’d gotten earlier.  The salted fudge and peanut cookie snack wasn’t reviewed on a blog post since that was one of the snacks we had when we were on a trip– I had ordered some extra snacks and taken them along as emergency fuel for the journey when we spent 2 weeks in California in September.

  • Spicy Thai Sriracha Crunch: TRASH (sriracha peas & popped corn kernels with jumbo salted corn) This snack lives up to its name. I liked this snack the first time I had it, but this second time it was too spicy for my taste.
  • Salted Fudge and Peanut Cookie: LIKE (baked salted peanuts, mini cocoa cookies, redskin peanuts and vanilla fudge) So delicious! You got your chocolate cookies, and some healthy peanuts, and some very sweet fudge. Very satisfying dessert for after lunch, or for with coffee.
  • Summerberry Compote: LOVE (berry compote with wholemeal shortbread dippers) These little cookies and their berry dip taste like pie. I wish you got more than three dippers per pack. Pro tip: Dip each bite of the cookie. I hope I get more of these cookie and compote combos in the future!
  • Eleanor’s Apple Crumble: LIKE (soft apple pieces, cinnamon and honey almonds and raisins) This is one of their snacks where if you get all three elements of it in one bite, it really tastes like the name. Individually though the elements are kind of boring, the honey almonds a little too sweet.

I received an email from Graze which said that they would be changing my 4-snack box to an 8-snack box in order to give customers a better cost per snack.  I believe that means the snacks will be even cheaper, if they’ll still only charge me for the 4-snack box.  Stay tuned– I’ll let you know the status once my next box arrives the second week of November!
